Summary
Jao Xihongshi, also known as St. Tomato, was a Handoran monk who created the art of Tomato Fu in the mid-13th Century AE. He led a group of monks in its teachings for a time, but tensions began to build between his order and a rival group of monks. In 1284 AE, the master of the rival order killed Xihongshi in combat, and his followers destroyed the home of the order.
Legacy
Although they initially tried to restart the order as it was, constant pursuit by the rival order forced Xihongshi's followers to flee the Great Handoran Empire. They eventually arrived in what was at the time the United Provinces province of North Svaldenstadt, and located a mountain range similiar to the mountains their former home was set in.
By 1287 AE, they founded St. Tomato Monastery in these mountains, after the new name given for their master. They devoted the monastery to the teachings of Tomato Fu, which it has upheld ever since.
