Overview

Shapeshifters are one of the most eclectic races in existence. Their spirit having been corrupted past stability, they have the ability to alter their form in various ways. Generally, Shapeshifters have a basic shape they can't deviate too far from, but are able to make adjustments to parts of their bodies, often allowing them to change them into weapons in battle.

It is unclear as to how shapeshifters came into existance. Some say it's a genetic mutation and that they've always been around, only becoming more noticed recently. Others say they became corrupted during the Two Year Gap. Whichever is the case, it seems impossible to determine just how many exist.

Racial Passive

Mutable Form (Racial Passive): Either by a genetic mutation, or sometime over the Two Year Gap, your spirit got corrupted beyond stability. Fortunately, an unstable blueprint for a body means a changeable form, leaving you capable of manipulating your shape in ways that shouldn't be possible.
Positives: Receive 1 more skill point per level. +10 STL. All weapons are considered Soulbound. When using a healing technique on yourself, you get a 20% chance of the Regeneration status augment. This does not count as a normal status effect on the technique, and is unaffected by the Booster element or any other status effect percentage increases.
Negatives: -10 WLP. Whenever you recieve a Charge, unless recieved from another character, your next technique is considered to have the Weak Link and Wide Open Kickbacks, with no Stamina reduction recieved from them. If the technique already has Weak Link/Anti-Parry or Wide Open/Anti-Counter, the applicable Kickback is applied on the following technique instead.
