Flight
Flight is a special universal passive granted only to races that have wings. This includes:
- Angels
- Alibaas
- Winged Demons
- Celestials
- Dragonkin in Ascension (the Keystone desperation. Awakening form #2.)
- Dragons
- Faeries (Except Wingless Faeries)
Note that there may be EXTREMELY rare circumstances in which you can gain flight in other ways, but this will be no easy task (possibly lore related) and will still not result in you flying with your fists balled in front of you like Superman.
Flight Passive
Flight (Universal Passive): Gifted with wings and the ability to not gorge yourself on meatballs to ruin your dainty, hollow-boned figure, your character is capable of sustained flight. The Flight ability REPLACES your run command, offering no additional movement but allowing you to ignore terrain movement cost, elevation, and effects until you land (finish moving). This does not allow you to circumvent impassable terrain.
- If a GM requires an Athletics check for jumping and climbing in RP, having the Flight passive cannot be used to outright bypass Athletics for it, as that would be kind of cheating.
Note that a weaker form of this is available in the Levitation universal passive.
