Earth
- If you are looking for the character of the same name, see Earth (Character).
Earth is the lesser of the two major planets which the events of Epic take place on. Its level of technology is generally behind that of Disparatus, focusing more on magic, or in some cases integrating parts of Disparatus' technology in odd ways. It has a population of approximately 80,000,000. Until The Great Cataclysm occurred in 713 AE, the planet had only one continent, Eurus. During the event, it was split into the five landmasses of today.
The planet's equator is roughly 58% that of the size of Disparatus', and its days are about 24.62 hours long. Please keep in mind that seasons are opposite in the northern and southern hemispheres.
Note that Epic's Earth and our Earth aren't the same.
Countries and Locations
Banivian Continent
- Banivian Empire - Europe in the middle ages, but with zombies.
- (Note that the name Banivia most generally refers to the Banivian Empire.)
- Ibadia - A desert country with warring nomads and sacred ruins.
- Chanvierre - Mid-Renaissance France, known for learning and scholarly pursuits. (Needs its article made)
- Ellenikos - Mid-Renaissance Greece/Italy, cultural center of Earth. (Needs its article made)
- Alba - Early 19th-century England, but with magic and racism instead of science.
Tellus Nova
- Alfheim - Land of Elves and magical forests. (Needs its article finished and approved)
- Jostingaard - DWARVES
- Teratonia - Geodudes. Rocks, trees, and volcanoes.
- Eluvina - Faeries live here. They like nature. I notice a pattern of Earth nations being race-based.
- Druzhiyova - Steampunk Russia rules the skies! (Needs its article made) (Note from Vampire lore: Was preceded by the Razhivyo Empire)
- Eisenstaat - Steampunk Germany, masters of machining!
- Frozen Wastes of Draakengard - A near-abandoned land in the far north. Dragons used to live here. A small handful still do.
Halenforth Continent
- Halenforth - A scarred land that is home to refugees and outcasts. Seperated from Tellus Nova by a channel of water.
Almassaran Continent
- Almassar - Also known as Al-Magamud al-Sahraa, which is Ibadian for "Frozen Desert". It's cold. Very cold. People don't really live here.
Neutral or Multinational Locations not on Continents
These places are mostly on the ocean.
- The Black Island - A large landmass in the southern seas. Details on this land are scarce, as the sheer obsidian cliffs and minimal value of the island have prevented any large-scale expeditions from occurring there. (Needs its article made)
- Anurdain - An ancient Elven kingdom from before the Great Cataclysm. Was sealed away in the Nameless Prison, but has recently been restored to Earth.
