Teleporters

Teleporters are devices which allow for instataneous tranportation between two locations. Teleporters were originally invented by either the Orkans or the Lehk`zhulians in the years prior to The Great Exodus in 0 AE (The answer has been lost to history), and were last used en masse during the exodus itself. However, due to the accidents caused in this, teleportation was banned shortly after, and knowledge of it was lost to all but the Lehk`zhulians.

In the present day, there are only two known sets of teleporters on either Disparatus or Earth. One is a set linked between a hidden section of King Drago's former palace in Dragonoa, and the Celestial Planet. This set is essentially unusable due to almost no one outside of the Lehk`zhulians knowing where it is, who have since returned to their glacier and cannot be contacted.

The other set is the Faerie teleporter the Lehk`zhulians set up between Eluvina and Dragonoa's Forests of Dor’gan, which Drago granted control of to the Faeries in 2323 AE. Outside of the Lehk`zhulians and Faeries, the location of this teleporter set is unknown, although rumors of its existance have passed around Disparatus, and it is currently being sought out by the government of the United Provinces.

Currently, only Faerie characters are allowed to use this teleporter, and only to go to and from Eluvina itself. For the moment, other nations of Earth are closed off from travel. If you want a non-faerie character to be able to use the teleporter, or for any character to use it to go elsewhere on Earth, you need full staff approval for this. It's also potentially possible to get a ship to Earth, but you will need full staff approval for that as well. These are only recommended if getting there is absolutely vital for a storyline.

Trivia

  • In Old Epic, teleportation was rediscovered in 2314 AE following an Orkan scientific breakthrough, leading to the founding of INT-TEL in 2315 AE.
